Two ERC Starting Grants awarded to IPQ/IMT institute Researchers
Prof. Dr. C. Koos and PD A. Nesterov-Mueller have both been awarded an ERC Starting Grant. This highly prestigious grant is only awarded to exceptional, established research leaders to pursue frontier research of their choice.

Excellent Retired Scientists
Prof. Dr. Dr. Wolfgang Freude of the IPQ-Institute and Prof. Dr. Herbert Moser of the IMT-Institute have been elevated to the ranks of Excellent Retired Scientists and as such are becoming members of the "Network of Excellent Retired Scientists" of the KIT.
